Partners in Therapy operates as a Limited Liability Company. Owned and operated by Alice Grona Hahn, a licensed physical therapist, massage therapist and certified Pilates instructor. Partners in Therapy is located in northeast Albuquerque. 

        Partners in Therapy provides a unique service to its clients by offering both physical therapy and massage therapy services. Physical therapy clients benefit from individualized sessions tailored to address their specific injury or disease, and massage therapy clients can be assured that they are receiving treatments by a medical professional with many years experience in the treatment of soft tissue complaints. Partners In Therapy also offers Exercise Classes & Back Education Programs, thus providing a balanced approach to better health.

About The Director

Alice Grona Hahn graduated Magna cum Laude in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Alice holds licensure in physical therapy in N.M., and holds national certification in therapeutic massage and bodywork.  She is also a certified Pilates instructor. 

Alice has worked in the Physical Therapy field since 1976, beginning with an associates degree in Physical Therapy from St. Phillips's College in San Antonio, augmenting her education with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1980. 

She worked as a generalist in the Baptist Hospital System in San Antonio for 12 years.  She treated patients post-surgically following total joint replacement, and back and neck surgery.  She was actively involved in rehabilitation of patients following fractures, strokes, heart attack, cardiac surgery, and cancer. 

Since moving to Albuquerque in 1989, Alice has specialized in orthopedics and manual therapy. She has held positions as staff physical therapist and manager at Lovelace Health Systems, and has worked part-time for Albuquerque Physical Therapy and for Presbyterian Health Systems.

Throughout her career, Alice has assumed an active role in the supervision and instruction of Physical Therapist Assistant and Physical Therapy students in a clinical setting. 

She graduated from Body Dynamics School of Massage in July of 2000, where she served as primary  instructor of anatomy and physiology.   She also developed the anatomy and physiology syllabus for the school. 

Alice?s experience includes teaching classes in back education and injury prevention at Lovelace Heath Systems, Johnson & Johnson and at her own private practice.   

Alice also developed and instructed exercise classes for the management of neck and back injuries at Lovelace Health Systems.

Alice's particular interests include development of her skills in neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, lymph drainage therapy, and craniosacral therapy.

She is an active member of Central United Methodist Church and participates in the Chancel Choir, the Women's Ensemble and Liturgical Dance Choir.  Alice serves as a soloist in both the vocal and dance choirs, and is also actively involved in the church?s ministry to homeless families.  She is an active member of Albuquerque?s hot air ballooning association.
