connective tissues, adhesions and fascial layers
-Specifically designed to address
restrictions in the fascia
(the connective tissues surrounding the
muscles, and internal organs)
-Uses no lubricant
-Based on the work of Janet Travell M.D.
-Uses the pressure at designated locations in
the muscle to release restrictions and relieve local or referred pain
-Uses no lubricants
-Uses progressive pressure throughout the
entire length of the muscles to release restrictions
-Uses no lubricant
-May incorporate any of the above techniques
-Addresses special areas of pain that result
from disease or injury
-Physician's prescription required
-May be used in conjunction with the above
